Oakley Property runs for Say Aphasia at the Brighton Half Marathon 2024

An Oakley team ran the 2024 Half Marathon to help raise awareness and funding for local charity Say Aphasia for the second year in a row.

A huge congratulations and well done to the Oakley team who took part in the Brighton Half Marathon Sunday 25th February, this being the second year our team ran for the local charity. Special congratulations to Directors Andrew Hovey and David Beaken who both recorded personal best times!

Aphasia is a communication disability that occurs when the brain's communication centres are damaged. It affects around 350,000 people in the UK, yet not many people have heard of it. Our teams wanted to raise vital funds to provide support groups for people with Aphasia across the UK.

To find out more about Say Aphasia and the incredible work they do, please visit their website.

This years Oakley team raised £910, and the team that ran in 2023 raised over £1,700. We are proud to be able to support such an important local charity.
