New shops, offices and business space coming to Shoreham
New commercial space is coming to Shoreham, with flexible units available as part of the former Adur Civic Centre redevelopment.
The redevelopment of the former Adur Civic Centre continues to take shape, with a range of new commercial units set to become available this summer.
The development on Ham Road will provide more than 150 new homes alongside around 8,000 sq ft of commercial space at ground floor level, bringing new opportunities for businesses looking to open, relocate or expand in Shoreham.
The commercial units range from 424 sq ft to just over 1,000 sq ft individually, with the flexibility for businesses to take larger areas or potentially the entire space. They will benefit from a prominent position fronting the A259, parking and easy access to Shoreham railway station and the town centre.

The units fall within Class E planning use, which covers a wide range of potential occupiers including shops, offices, cafés, restaurants and a number of other commercial uses.
Shoreham has changed considerably over the past decade, with significant residential development bringing more people into the town. New commercial space is an important part of that growth, helping to create opportunities for businesses and ensuring development isn't solely focused on housing.
The new units are expected to be ready during summer 2026 and are available to let individually, in combination or potentially as a whole.
For businesses considering a move to Shoreham, or existing local firms looking for new premises, the development provides a rare opportunity to secure brand-new commercial space in a prominent location.
