1. Seven Sisters Cliffs, East Sussex

Perhaps the most iconic walk in Sussex, the Seven Sisters Cliffs offer dramatic white chalk cliffs plunging into the English Channel. This walk provides unparalleled coastal views and a fantastic workout.

• Parking: National Trust Birling Gap car park (BN20 0AD) or Exceat car park (BN25 4AD).
• Points of Interest: The famous 'Seven Sisters' themselves, Birling Gap beach (great for rock pooling at low tide), and the Belle Tout Lighthouse.
• Useful Information: The path can be steep and uneven in places. Keep dogs on leads due to cliff edges and livestock. There are cafes and toilets at Birling Gap and Exceat.

2. Cuckmere Haven, East Sussex

Nestled between Seaford and Eastbourne, Cuckmere Haven offers a gentler, yet equally stunning, walk along the meandering Cuckmere River to the sea, with the Seven Sisters providing a magnificent backdrop.

• Parking: Exceat car park (BN25 4AD).
• Points of Interest: The iconic meanders of the Cuckmere River, the historic Coastguard Cottages, and diverse birdlife.
